Welcome to Pombo Labs ("Pombo Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). Pombo Labs is a human‑centered research initiative dedicated to creating explainable artificial intelligence for the early detection of autism spectrum disorders and epilepsy and for delivering everyday support tools that help caregivers, educators, and clinicians respond to neuro‑diverse needs. Our Services include this website (pombolabs.com), open‑source software repositories, data sets and publications, prototype screening applications, and related educational resources (collectively, the “Services”).

Important: Our early‑screening models and caregiver guidance tools areresearch prototypes. They have not been cleared or approved by any regulatory authority (e.g., U.S. FDA) as medical devices. They are provided for research, educational, or compassionate‑use purposes only and must not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Some Services may require you to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Promptly notify us at security@pombolabs.com of any unauthorized use.

Unless otherwise noted, all content and functionality within the Services including software code, scientific manuscripts, graphics, and datasets are the property of Pombo Labs or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual‑property laws.
Open‑source releases are governed by their individual licenses (e.g., MIT, Apache‑2.0, or Creative Commons). Where those licenses conflict with these Terms, the open‑source license controls your use of that specific asset.
If you contribute code, data, or other materials (collectively, “User Content”) you grant Pombo Labs a worldwide, royalty‑free, non‑exclusive licence to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your contribution for the purpose of operating and improving the Services and associated research projects, consistent with any contributor agreement you sign.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information including video, audio, and physiological data that you or your organization may upload. By using the Services, you consent to those practices.

POMBO LABS MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR GUARANTEES REGARDING CLINICAL ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR REGULATORY COMPLIANCE. USE OF OUR EXPERIMENTAL MODELS FOR MEDICAL DECISION‑MAKING IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POMBO LABS AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (USA), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
