About the Role

You will own dataset quality at Pombo Labs. Set up annotation tools, draft labeling standards for gaze/micro-movement, supervise volunteer annotators, and deliver versioned datasets that meet clinical research requirements.

Responsibilities

•Create and maintain labeling guidelines for video, audio, and sensor data
•Configure and administer annotation platform (Label Studio, CVAT, etc.)
•Recruit and train 2–4 volunteer annotators; monitor inter-rater agreement ≥ 0.80 κ"
•Version datasets with Git/DVC and deliver weekly quality reports
•Collaborate with ML engineer to surface edge-case clips

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or final-year) in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Data Science, or related field; Master’s preferred
•Hands-on experience with a computer-vision annotation tool
•Familiarity with COCO/YOLO or similar data formats
•Strong organisational and written-communication skills
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
•Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines for data submission.
•Good communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely.
